TSG67. Making a superhero character with Robyn Hepburn

do you think it is possible in an hour?

As part of my strategy to move completely into making art full time, I want to grow The Sketchbook Games community. For this reason, I am offering a 40% discount of the annual subscription. You will get assigments, references, tips and online workshops every month to help you make a portfolio and improve your art making along the way. The offer will expire soon.

Dear Sketchbookers,

Yesterday evening was a real pleasure for me to have

cohosting this guided session.

I am so proud of all of us! We managed to warm up, learn children’s proportions and face features, design a costume, give a character its own personality and draw different poses in a session that lasted a bit over an hour.

If someone would have told me I was going to be able do that a month ago, I wouldn’t have believed it, but we did it! I have learned that splitting everything into small bits can bring you faster where you want to be.

I know it was a day full of other sessions, so thanks everyone who made the effort to be there.

We will be posting later this week some pictures of our characters along with a Timelapse I recorded on the phone.

To make wrap up drawing children, we will also give you an assignment at the end of the month and it will be something you can use in your portfolio!

Until soon friends,

Robyn and Citla

ps. I almost forgot, but here is the link for the presentation we made for the guided session:
